Latest version

To ensure you are using the latest version of MyDrive Connect, do the following:

1. Right click the MyDrive Connect icon ( or or ) in the Windows notification area or Apple menu bar.
   
2. Click >Settings then select the About tab.
3. If a new version is available, you see a link saying A newer version is available. Click here to install the latest version.
4. Click the link to install the latest version of MyDrive Connect.

1. Connect your navigation device to your computer. Switch on your device.
   
2. If MyDrive Connect doesn't open automatically, click the MyDrive Connect icon (or ) in the Windows notification area or Apple menu bar and then click MyDrive Connect.
   
3. If you are not already logged in, enter your email address and click Log in. You can select 'Remember my email address' so you don't have to enter it next time.
   
4. Click Update selected. MyDrive Connect will display what's new with this update, you must click Accept and Install to continue.

   Note: If no software update is available, the software on your navigation device is up-to-date. You can disconnect your navigation device from the computer and skip the remaining steps.

   
   



MyDrive Connect downloads and installs the software on your device.

During the download and installation, MyDrive Connect shows the progress of the two operations: download to the computer and then installation on the navigation device.




Important: Do not disconnect your navigation device. Your navigation device will display a message to say when it is safe to disconnect it.

Once the installation is complete, you will see the message YOU'RE READY TO GO! in MyDrive Connect. Click the My Content button to return to the MY CONTENT page. Windows 7 crack.



5. When you see the message on your navigation device that the installation has completed, disconnect your navigation device from your computer.

You can now use your navigation device with the installed software update.

Software update for Windows Vista and XP users

If you are using Windows Vista or XP and your navigation device is running software version 16.6 then you will need to install additional driver software to recognise your device.

1. When you have updated your device to software version 16.6 and you connect the device to your computer, you will see the following message that prompts you to install new software.
2. Click Next. Windows will search your computer for the new driver software and install it. During the installation you will see the following message:

This is because Windows Vista and XP are no longer supported by Microsoft and we are unable to submit new driver software for Windows Logo testing.

If you want to manage your navigation device on a Windows Vista or XP computer click Continue Anyway.

If you see this message then follow these steps:

1. Click Back then select the second option in the Found New Hardware Wizard: Install from a list or specific location (Advanced). Click Next.
2. Select your search and installation options. The location will depend on where you have installed MyDrive Connect. The standard installation location is shown below.
3. Click Next to continue the installation. Once the driver software is installed you will now be able to use MyDrive Connect to manage your device as normal.

Tomtom Driver Updates

Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft. If you still use Windows XP, you may need to take some additional steps as described below.

1. Go to www.tomtom.com/mydrive, then click Download for Windows and follow the instructions to install the latest version of MyDrive Connect.
2. Start MyDrive Connect.

If you encounter the following warning, this means that your Windows XP installation is missing a certificate. You can either ignore the warning by clicking Yes each time you start MyDrive Connect or install the certificate manually as explained below.

2. Open Internet Explorer* and go to www.entrust.net/
